On this excerpt, I discuss my exposé of a labor trafficking racket in Bahrain. The first of my series went live in New York on July 11, 2012, resulting in the release of 112 Indian migrant workers in Bahrain on July 19, 2012. The workers had been detained under Bahrain's Kafala sponsor system for more than six years. My story was replicated in media outlets across the UK and parts of the Middle East.
